Exciting News: An audience with our MP Rt Hon Kenneth Clarke on Saturday

Some very exciting news to share today. We have an audience with our MP Rt Hon Kenneth Clarke scheduled for this coming Saturday. We will be taking all of the concerns raised throughout the public meetings that have taken place across the last few weeks, the issues that have been raised by our community members through email and across the Facebook pages.

We will be asking our MP to support us on this issue and to act on our behalf. We will update you all as to the outcome of that meeting as soon as we are able.

We have had ongoing discussions with the press and we have been sharing our story with communities further afield, to warn them of the impact that the increase in traffic joining the A52 will have upon their own communities.

We expect to be able to deliver a full report on the Extra-Ordinary meeting either today or tomorrow, but at this precise moment the Rt Hon Kenneth Clarke has our full attention as we ensure that we are taking all of the community's concerns into consideration.

Wish us luck!

  2. Well done, you are putting a lot of work into the cause which the community appreciates. I was very impressed with the turnout to the meeting and the determination of so many residents ( and of neighbouring villages who deserve a voice too) to present their concerns.
